Theme: Cultivating Stillness in Everyday Life
It was a beautiful fall day in Upperville, VA, at the historic Mill House.
We started the day with 9 am yoga in the pavilion because the lawn was wet from a midnight rain. Angelyn taught a restorative class finished with lavender aromatherapy. Then Teresa led us through a reflection and guided meditation on how the 23rd Psalm applies to our everyday life.
We enjoyed brunch with mimosas by the roaring fire and had time to walk the grounds and explore the beautiful old house. Then we worked on identifying the broken things and false priorities in our lives through art, and made action plans to slay our personal monsters, whatever they were.
The day wound down with a closing meditation, coffee, tea and desserts, and lots of laughs with newly made friends.
